Job Interview Questions: Am I screwed because I forgot to send a thank you letter after a job interview?

I had an awesome interview 3 weeks ago. I was the first person being interviewed so I believe she is still interviewing people. It's for a social work position. Am I screwed because of the lack of thank you note?

How to Answer Job Interview Questions Correctly and Get Hired

Recommended Answer:
You're not screwed, but you might have diminished your chances. If you want to, you can try sending one now, although I'm not certain I'd recommend it; you've already waited so long it might seem odd. You still have a chance at getting the job, the card would've just boosted you up a little, left a better impression. You were the first person interviewed, so it might end up being hard for you to stay fresh in the companies mind. A card would have helped stop that. Regardless, if you were the best applicant you would more then likely get the job card or no card.

  • no. I have never heard of sending a thank you note. I wouldn't do it anyways cause it sounds like your desperate.

Job Interview Questions: What is the point of taking personality tests for a job interview?

Seriously? I have worked in companies that require them and I still see employees who are lazy and dumb! I have been looking for a job for months and am trying to figure out why its so important that I strongly agree or disagree on an application for a gas station! Have these test really improved the quality of the workers hired? Or is it just a way of seeing how many hoops you can get the person who wants this job to jump through?

Job Interviews - How to Quickly and Easily Succeed at Them

Recommended Answer:
Some businesses have policies that are used nationwide or statewide to determine the ability of an employee. If they can't pass this test, they don't hire them per policies. The lazy workers probably were able to pass the test and reverted to their original positions of laziness. If you are looking for something to supplement your income a data collecting business will work for you. Data entry is a huge business. You can help the government where all your asked to do is input 10 plates per month, should take about 10-15 minutes. With that you tell others about the opportunity and get a residual income from it.You would be placed in a position that will make you successful. If you want more info msg. me.

Job Interview - Best Prep Questions

  • The only point I can see in having you do a test like that in a job is to see what things you are good at. I know they give them at colleges and universities to help a student decide what they want to major in. When you take these tests enough you can actually mold your answers to be whatever they want to see from you. That is the unfortunate part of all of it.

Job Interview Questions: What should I wear for a job interview at KFC?

I have a job interview at KFC tomorrow, don't really know what to wear? Please help.

10 Biggest Job Interviewing Mistakes

Recommended Answer:
Wear a suit and tie. You will make a first impression before you even open your mouth so you have to look professional... and clean! If you have any dirt under your nails or any other signs of poor hygiene you will never get a job in an establishment which sells food. Good luck!

How to Prepare Yourself for a Job Interview

  • You may want to try a giant horse costume. The boss will greatly appreciate that you have done your research and that you found out they use horse meat instead of chicken. As long as you wear the costume, you'll be hired!

  • I wore jeans, a t-shirt with a zip up hoody to my interview and got the single greatest job ever - KFC Delivery! Don't overdress. Be clean, speak clearly.

  • I'd go with business casual, although if you wanted to go the full suit/tie it's better to overdressed than underdressed.

  • A colonel sanders costume...that would make a great impression lol

How Not to Fail at Job Interviews

  • First off it helps if the they do most of the talking.

Ask short "open questions" to all comments. For example if he says "you will work evenings" Ask, "which evenings" and so on. It is a technique to show interest in the job, and that you are interested in what they are interested in.

You can ask just a few things to show you are interested like, when will you complete interviews?, or some chit chat like how long have you been here? but the less you say the better the interview will go.
