Job Interview Questions: What is the point of taking personality tests for a job interview?

Seriously? I have worked in companies that require them and I still see employees who are lazy and dumb! I have been looking for a job for months and am trying to figure out why its so important that I strongly agree or disagree on an application for a gas station! Have these test really improved the quality of the workers hired? Or is it just a way of seeing how many hoops you can get the person who wants this job to jump through?

Job Interviews - How to Quickly and Easily Succeed at Them

Recommended Answer:
Some businesses have policies that are used nationwide or statewide to determine the ability of an employee. If they can't pass this test, they don't hire them per policies. The lazy workers probably were able to pass the test and reverted to their original positions of laziness. If you are looking for something to supplement your income a data collecting business will work for you. Data entry is a huge business. You can help the government where all your asked to do is input 10 plates per month, should take about 10-15 minutes. With that you tell others about the opportunity and get a residual income from it.You would be placed in a position that will make you successful. If you want more info msg. me.

Job Interview - Best Prep Questions

  • The only point I can see in having you do a test like that in a job is to see what things you are good at. I know they give them at colleges and universities to help a student decide what they want to major in. When you take these tests enough you can actually mold your answers to be whatever they want to see from you. That is the unfortunate part of all of it.

Job Interview Questions: How should I dress up for a job interview?

So I have a job interview at Wet Seal in a few days but the thing is, I don't know how I should dress up for the interview. I want to look professional, but then I'm only 16 so I don't want to look like a total idiot within the people in the store. So what is a good option of clothes for the interview? o.O

Job Interviews Should Be As Easy As Trying on a Pair of Shoes

Recommended Answer:
wear no open toe shoes.. nice acessories (belt, earrings, rings, etc). stick with black colored clothes. no jeans or t-shirts or sweaters or sweatpants. wear a nice dark dressy pant, with a nice casual blouse (no t-shirt or polo). this way you look professional casual and it fits in with the store and the people in it (at least for your interview) the manager will tell you what they accept or not for everyday clothing..

:) good luck! oh, pointer: put some emphasys on your customer service skills, always works :)

Tips During a Job Interview - Tremendous Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd!

  • A pencil skirt or a nice pair of dress pants, khakis work. Avoid ripped or baggy jeans, big no- no. Corduroy also works, and stores love it if you wear their own clothes. Maybe a pair of leggings with a skirt or long dress shirt. As for a top with your pants, something plain with a cute cardigan is professional and still comfy. Avoid baggy sweatshirts and tees. Your bra straps should never show unless maybe it's an over the shoulder sweater, and even then it still doesn't look great for first impressions. You'll be walking a lot, so a cute pair of flats are a must.

Well, this is assuming you're a girl and all :P But anyways, good luck! Hope you get the job.

  • where something that expreses you and your style. Wet Seal isn't really a place to dress all conservative . where a cute pair of jeans with a bright colored shirt and accesories to show them your a fashionista

  • I'd go with a nice, modest, businesslike look. Try a fitted pencil skirt or trousers, some heels or flats, and a nice dressy top. Maybe a cardigan or something over that. Just keep it somewhat formal and classy.

  • just look conservative, almost like you're going to church. where a nice top, with a skirt/pants, and flats or sandals with some nice jewelry

    ~brebaby <3~

  • I would wear a skirt with a nice blouse or nice pants with a nice blouse with nice shoes.

  • hot sexy and exposed IT AWAYS WORKS for guys at least if its a female you are screwed specially if its a fat one and you are pretty

  • Be conservative

  • I'm not sure what wet seal is but you should always wear a nice dress shirt and tie

  • ITHis is coming from a guy but maybe a nice shirt, like tan pants, and flats if you have any.

  • just wear a dress tights and boots dont wear anything showing your boobs and legs too much

Job Interview Techniques - 3 Super Tips When Preparing For A Job Interview

  • There are so many ways to botch it that I can't possibly list them all. You could show up in shorts and a T-shirt, you could come in with raggedy clothes on, you could show up twenty minutes late, or you could come in looking angry like you want to whoop someone's assss. The list here could go on on.

  • wear a trash bag, dip my hair in a mud puddle, "forget" to brush my teeth after eating a big helping of garlic, and show up high as a kite, think that oughta do it!

  • Ha Ha, lovely. Ask if it's ok to have a 2 hour lunch break as you usually like 4-6 pints of lager to keep the shakes at bay. Trouble is, you'll prob get the job!!
    Poll:Asym.

  • When they get to the question of why you are not at your most recent job anymore repeat the following..
Well, I was caught embezzling a rather large sum of money...but its ok because they made me pay it back...well some of it"

  • Take a Viagra a good half hour in advance. Talk in a poorly feigned russian accent. Smell your fingers periodically. And don't forget to not brush your teeth.

  • Fart. A lot. Loudly.

    Asymmetrical.

  • you tell the guy/girl who is interviewing you that you are the better partner for their partner and you want them to be FIRED!

  • Eat a whole mess of something that will cause anal leakage followed with a lot of cups of coffee.

    Asymmetrical
Note: Bring extra pants for the ride home.

  • Cough in their face and then tell them that not even the Swine Flu could keep you away from the interview.Symmetrical

  • piss yourself and make as many references as possible to you sodomizing the person interviewing you.

  • Start interview them !

  • Go a bit drunk with alcohol on your breath, hair uncombed and in slept in clothes.

  • Just walk in wearing a pink tutu and a ball gag that should do the trick.Symmetrical I like the idea of 2 bewbies.

  • show up with a beer in your hand and insult the interviewer.

  • Go in smelling like booze, lay down a really gassy fart or two, and then throw up in their wastebasket.
    Poll: Symmetrical

  • Pull a Sharon Stone and show your Basic Instinct.Wait...that might just get me the job......Symmetrical.

  • That's easy. Just say: You don't do drug test do you? And if their reply is yes, just say, awww mannn!!!

  • Wear a Snuggie and argue with the voices in your head.

  • sneeze in your hand before you shake the interviewers

  • Wouldn't bathe or brush my teeth (eat corn chips on top of that). Talk loudly or act narcoleptic. Scratch myself in weird places.

    Symmetrical.

  • Light a cigarette....that'll do it every time

Job Interview Questions: What are some questions asked at a job interview for an OBGYN front office position?

I'm getting ready for a job interview at an OBGYN office and would like what are the most asked questions for this type of job? I do have experience in the medical field, however, I've worked at a Chiropractic office, nothing like OBGYN. The closest I got to this type of environment was when I was actually pregnant and had to go in for appointments.

An office position is an office position is an office position. What goes on in the examination rooms shouldn't affect what goes on up front. The only difference is that OBGYNs are real doctors, unlike chiropractors.

How Not to Fail at Job Interviews

      • First off it helps if the they do most of the talking.

Ask short "open questions" to all comments. For example if he says "you will work evenings" Ask, "which evenings" and so on. It is a technique to show interest in the job, and that you are interested in what they are interested in.

You can ask just a few things to show you are interested like, when will you complete interviews?, or some chit chat like how long have you been here? but the less you say the better the interview will go.
