Job Interview Questions: This is a job interview etiquette question...?

If you worked for a company, and performed illegal actives per their order. Would this be something to mention or even boast about at a job interview?

Tips For Job Interviews - Common Job Interview Questions and Answers

Recommended Answer:
No, dont mention it and dont brag about it....
There is a common interview question that I personally have encountered twice. The question is: "would you bribe someone to get your word done if that was beneficial to the company?", and the right answer to that question is "No"

Personally, I beleive that any success that is not based on principles is just temporarily and will fade away eventually. An employer would never want to hire an unprincipled employee as well, because he will never know when he will turn against him.

Good luck in your interview.

Job Interview - Best Prep Questions

  • Did you get caught performing these illegal activities? If you didn't I would suggest you don't bring it up in a job interview. Companies don't want to hire someone who performs illegal activities, regardless if the activities were your idea or not.

  • This is an interesting question and I'd love to know your motivation for asking it. Obviously, no - it is bad etiquette, and not very smart because it is not only self incriminating but reflects badly on the person's character. Either the person has a skewed view of what employers want and misguided sense of right and wrong - or for some reason they think they are interviewing with a company that expects them to perform such activities.

If I were interviewing this person, they certainly would not get the job.

Job Interview Questions: What should guys with long hair do when going for a job interview?

Get it cut, tie it into a ponytail or do what?

My hair is currently collar length with my front bangs long enough to tie back.

Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
It depends on what kind of job it is. Look at it this way, you could aways grow it back again. What's more important your hair or the job? I think employers equate long hair with unreliability. That's my take on it. It's best to look as clean cut as possible, especially if it's an office environment. Grow it back out after you get the job.

  • How important is a job to you ? Ask the employer what they expect.

  • Slick back in a neat pony tail. Thats the best.

Job Interview Preparation - The Tips & Tricks You Need to Know

Recommended Answer:
Bring a copy of your resume. To be safe, bring a copy of your id as well. so you can provide proof of who you are and eligibility to work. Maybe a copy of your college transcripts if you have it handy. Letters of reference or a list of references to provide the interviewer if they want to check them. Can't think of anything else you might need for an interview. You could look over your cover letter to see if there was anything you promised to provide - a portfolio, samples, etc. to see if that jogs your memory.

Know Your Job Interview Skills

Recommended Answer:
This is my favorite, (to ask).

Your boss gives you an assignment. You must prepare a report for him for an upcoming meeting.
You get all the figures you need and prepare the report. You are reviewing it before you print it and you discover that the person who have you the wrong figures gave you the wrong ones. The report is useless. What do you do?

The answer I want to hear is .. Since your boss told you he needed it for a meeting, you gave it priority.
As a result, you are way ahead of the deadline.
All you have to do is get the right figures and correct what you have. You have it in Excel, so re-doing it isn't a big problem.
You get the right figures, re-do the report and hand it to your boss with plenty of time to spare.
You just followed the # 1 rule of boss-subordinate relationship---never do anything which would embarass your boss.
