Job Interview Questions: Job interview outfit?

I have a job interview this weekend at a local amusement park, and I'm afraid of what to wear. Any ideas or anything to say? Please and thankyou!

A Job Interview Guide for Starters

Recommended Answer:
Wear something similar to the job you're applying for; just a little bit dressier.

The Proper Instruments For Passing the Job Interview

  • Your interview is your first impression. Depending on your style and confidence level what you wear will enhance the presentation of yourself. Black/Khaki bottoms and a white top. Neatly pressed.

Casual walking shoes, meaning not gym shoes but not necessarily dress shoes. Black slacks, a nice pair of Dickie's or all black, non faded and non fitted (cling to your butt) jeans. White polo, or collard shirt.

  • Showing a little skin is scientifically proven to be a sound business strategy.

Job Interview Questions: What would i wear to a job interview at a Jewelrs store?

slacks, skirts? button up blouse or a silky dress shirt? flats or pumps and how should i wear my hair? up or down its really curly by the way, and colors black or tan or white?

What to Do When Your Job Interviewer is Distracted - And You Want This Job

Recommended Answer:
the jewelry stores that i have worked at have a dress code for girls. it includes panty hose, slacks, or a knee length skirt, a modest shirt (nothing low cut or see thru), and a jacket (like a suit jacket), or a dress with panty hose. the shoes did not matter as long as they were dress shoes.

Job Interviewing Tips

  • it really doesn't matter what you wear as much as the way you present yourself....don't wear a really low cut shirt(just cuz they do it in the movies doesn't mean it works)....A nice pair of slacks and pumps with a matching shirt would do just fine make yourself look like you are a well groomed and mature individual.

  • Slacks, Button up blouse, Flats, Up. Black bottoms white blouse.

  • Dress semi casual. Black pants, black shoes

Job Interview Questions: What kind of questions are at a Macys Job Interview??? HELP?

I'm interviewing for retail support, on call. Tthis is my first job interview. What sort of questions will they ask me? What should I wear? How important is this interview really?

Please, someone who has worked at Macys before help me.

Job Interviewing Tips

Recommended Answer:
They ask standard questions such as -

When have you worked as part of a team to achieve goals?

When have you excelled as an individual to go above and beyond for a customer?

When have you improved upon an existing process to make it more effective?

Tell me about a time when you have had to overcome a difficult situation with a colleague or customer?

How would you describe yourself in terms of your strengths and weaknesses?

Best thing to do is dress smart, be friendly, make good eye contact and rehearse questions they'll likely ask you. Look at the job you applied for and imagine yourself doing it on a day to day basis and imagine some of the situations you'd be in - what type of skills do you think they'll want to test you on? Are you confident, outgoing and smart? If it comes across that you are then you'll own the interview,

....and make sure you ask a few questions at the end so they know you're interested. Ask them what sort of training you'll receive, and also ask about how McD's tries to reinforce it's reputation for excellent customer and product focus.

Try to be natural, and dont let your nerves control you.

Good luck :-)

Job Interview Training For Managers - Will's Story

  • You need to dress nice & in black (the Macys dress code). the biggest thing they focus on is SELLING. How do you do that--suggest add on related items (a tie is they are buying a shirt) and opening charge cards. They really did not ask me much of anything.

Job Interview Questions: What to wear for a job interview at a clothing store?

I have an interview at Love Culture and I was wondering what I should wear for it.

Should I wear dress pants, a skirt, dark jeans? A colored blouse, or white blouse? What about a cardigan or a jacket? And are black flats or black boots okay?

And if you can, any heads up on what I would be asked to answer/to do at a clothing interview?

I'm very nervous, but thank you!

Job Interview Questions: Is it ok to wear a deep v-neck blouse to a job interview if it doesn't show cleavage?

Well... actually I don't have much cleavage to begin with lol, but there's a blouse I'm wanting to wear to a job interview. It stops like an inch above my boobs, so as long as I don't bend over you can't see anything. Is that fine?

Spontaneous Job Interviews - Why You Should Love Them

    Recommended Answer:
Why take a risk. Wear something that will not give you any cause to worry or give the interview panel any cause for distraction. Formal and safe is always best at an interview. And what if you do have to bend over to pick something up? Get the job on your merits not your bust size!!

How to Improve Your Job Interview Skills

    • For that you should see
      www.apnafunpoint.com
I hope that resolve your problem . I have also experienced this web on answers.yahoo.com

If you want any thing just open www.apnafunpoint.com and write on search box and find all things

    • a little cleavage would probably help you get the job, lol.

    • Provided that it looks classy, and doesn't show anything, it should be fine!

    • Only if you wear a camisole under it. Always dress professionally and modestly for job interviews. Unless you are applying at Hooters.

    • i would say, if your decolletage is not wrinkled and old looking, sure.

    • Yes if you use some two sided tape to keep it from falling away if you lean forward. Other wise put a scarf in the neck line to make sure you don't give the interviewer anything that might take his mind off the job at hand.

    • If your boyfriend would approve of it, and your mother think you were being a bit of a tease, then the simple answer is: NO! If in doubt, conservative with a small c.

I have a job interview coming up at Hollister this week, I am wondering what I should wear to it.

Jeans? Polo? Button down? what would be the best?

How to Prepare For a Job Interview - Preparing For a Good Job

    Recommended Answer:
Jeans and a hollister shirt. Don't wear a shirt that just SCREAMS hollister, or that has hollister written all over it, that'll just look tacky and look like you're trying too had. A nice button down shirt with the hollister sign shows you're committed to the job and that you know the about what you're slling. also nice fitted jeans would be perfect !

    • i would say jeans and one of their button down styled shirts or polo, only because i know they like that cleaner cut natural look.

Job Interview Questions: Any tips for a 17 year old going to her first job interview?

Ok, so tomorrow I have been called in for a job interview at a really nice restaurant called The Firefly. This is my first interview, so I'm not really sure what to expect. Other than dressing nice, is there any advice you could offer me?
(I applied to be a hostess)

    Eliminate Job Interview Anxiety

    Recommended Answer:
Congrats that you got an interview! You'll do well I know.

They like to ask STAR questions. Tell me about a situation (ST) where you had to work against a deadline, deal with a difficult customer, or something like that. What did you do (Action). And what result did you get? (Result)

So think through situations they might ask you about. Then prepare to tell them about the situation, what you did, and the result you got. For the waitress position, they need you to be cool under deadlines, able to deal with stress, able to deal with difficult customers, and able to smile at the face of rude people.

Be calm and be natural in the interview. Show them that you're more mature than other 17 year olds. Let them know why you are a stable person with a future ahead of them, a good worker, and you'll show up. That's right, the number one problem that resturants have is no shows.

Best of luck in your interview.

Job Interviews -- How to Follow Up Effectively

    • Don't wear jeans to the interview; dress like you're going to church.
No cussing. Act like one of the Brady girls, not like Paris Hilton.
The hostess job is entry level, and they like pretty high school and college girls. They are not expecting a business expert. The competition could be pretty fierce if it's a really nice restaurant, so don't blow it, there are probably 20 other girls in your school who applied for that exact same job!

For that job, if you are the only applicant who looks like a cheerleader, then you're probably getting the job.

    • Be friendly and smile, and wear nice clothes but don't overdo it. Just be casual and focus on the people and not yourself. Also, get some prayers. Most importantly in life, get to know God, your spiritual Father, then pray about your life. He can help you live a better life. As God is love, life is primarily about love and relationships in order to have a rich and full life. Also, you need to know God's Son, Jesus Christ, in your life as your Lord and Savior as Jesus died on the cross as payment for our sins. Having Him with you will give you God's blessing and forgiveness, as you live God's way. We need to know and follow God in this life so we can go to heaven after we die, and so we can get God's help now. Not following God leads to hell, eternal suffering. Instead, there is an important prayer to pray to become a born again Christian. This prayer should be said with faith in God and a sincere heart:
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinful person and I don't want to be like this anymore. I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross as payment for our sins, and I want to accept Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever so I can receive God's forgiveness, guidance, and go to heaven after I die. Thank you, dear God, for your mercy and guidance; in Jesus' name. Amen."
After saying this prayer, you should check out a Christian church like Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran.
Also, get into their Bible study group so you can learn more about God, Jesus, and God's will for your life. The Bible is God's instruction book about how to live a God-honoring life so you can go to heaven after you die. The church can also get you baptized and prayed for. You can pray for yourself daily too. God guide your life.

    • Just show them the qualities you expect from a hostess.

Be polite, smile, do a little research over the restaurant (date of opening, what they offer, who's the owner, etc.), let them know you want to work and you won't leave in 5 days because you found another job.

      I hope this helps :)

    • *Smile alot
*Answer questions with "yes" not "yea"
*Arrive with a Curriculum Vitale even if you have never had a job (download free template from MicroSoft Online)

*Never Ever use the adjective "neat" to describe something....

      * just have fun and be yourself...

***Most common question is "Why do you want to work here?" Prepare an answer for that
****Also "What strengths would you bring?" Good Luck!!

    • Smile, be polite, be honest and most importantly, be yourself.

    • don't vomit on the interviewer

Job Interview Questions: What subject can I teach a job interview panel for 10 minutes?

This is a job interview for an employability skills trainer.

I don't know whether they want me to teach them about employability, because they already know about that. Do I teach them something completely different? Or do I pretend they are out of work adults and teach them to suck eggs?

Get That Job: Mastering Job Interviews

    Recommended Answer:
I'm approaching this from the side of the person you are teaching.

It really doesn't matter what subject you teach the audience at this interview. As you say, they don't need to learn stuff that they already know, but they aren't testing you on that.

They want to see how you communicate? How confident are you? Can you adapt and cope with the unexpected?

Do you have the ability to manage and hold the attention span of a room full of people with different different needs, motivations, educations, etc.

At this interview, they want to see if you have planned to occupy your allotted 10 mins.
