Job Interview Questions: How do you make an impression at your first job interview?

Im gonna be sixteen soon, and plan to apply at a couple places. Im really nervous for the interviews, and I need too know what too do?

What To Bring To A Job Interview - Interview Basics

Recommended Answer:
Well you can start out by dressing up not too fancy just nice. Make sure you know your resume or application. Practice with a friend with the questions you think they would ask. Research a little about the place so that if they ask you about the store or company you'll have an answer. Sit up straight and don't figet.Be excited but calm, and just be yourself. Remember to smile, it goes a long way. I'm sure you'll do great.

Good luck

Learn How To Win The Job Interview Test!

  • I'd say to dress professional. If you're gonna wear a suit, stick with the business colors, blue or black. Can't remember where I learned that from. Just stay calm, yes even though its a job interview, its still just an interview. Being nervous doesn't help...just remember, the person you're talking to was in the same position you are in right now at some point in their life. In other words, they're human like you. Hope all goes well :)

  • Smile, always look at the interviewer, and don't be nervous! good luck

Job Interview Questions: What can i expect at a job interview?

i applied for a job at a store in the mall and followed up with a phone call. they said to come in for an interview and that was it. i think the job is to be a cashier, but i don't know for sure. i don't even know if they want me full time, part time or just for the holidays. and i don't know what to wear or what to say. what are they going to ask me? i'm not good at answering questions on the fly, i want to be prepared. any help?

Job Interview Skills

Recommended Answer:
Don't worry about what the job is; you should portray confidence that you will be able to handle it with some training. It also doesn't matter whether it is part-time, full-time, or only for holidays; take whatever is available (that is if you need a job). In answering their questions, be honest and enthusiastic; after all you applied for the job without their advertising it.

As for what to wear, go to the store and see what the employees are wearing. It is usually better to wear something formal and conservative. Have a clean-cut appearance (no facial rings), and reach a few minutes before the appointed time.

The 5 Biggest Mistakes People Make in Job Interviews - And How You Can Avoid Them!

  • Many people get stuck when they are aiming to decide what to wear at an interview. Personally I'm from the old school, I am of the opinion that formal wear is never inappropriate; you can get some instruction from the website in the box below, they also have a lot of help on job hunting.

Recommended Answer:
Practice! Grab a friend (or call one) and have them go over common interview questions with you. You won't be nervous if you already have an answer mentally prepared for the tough questions, like "what's your greatest weakness" and "why do you want to work for us?"
The other essentials: Good eye contact. No fidgeting. Shake hands firmly. Take your time. Good luck!

Job Interview Questions: I have a job interview at 6pm and I don't know how to wear my hair?

I recently got it cut into a mohawk but I don't know if I should have the front curled or flat iron straight down. The job interview is with vector marketing(customer service).

I think a mohawk is the type of hair you should not wear to an interview for a job. They seriously might not hire you just because your hair. Dumb reason, totally... but reality is the truth.

Job Interview Questions: What would you wear for a job interview?

I'm 16 and I have my first job interview for a cashier at a restaurant,
what do i wear? how should i have my hair? My makeup?

English for Your Job Interview - How to Succeed

Recommended Answer:
Don't wear jeans, that is one of the biggest rules for any interview (they are too casual). Dress pants or a skirt (A decent skirt, nothing to short) You don't have to be super fancy but show that you put a little thought and effort into it. I went to an interview recently and wore a black, button up, short sleeve blouse with a lacy blue tank top underneath and black knee length skirt. (and i got the job :) now just a tip here is that you don't want to wear too much black. i have blonde hair so i was fine wearing what i did but if you have black hair or dark brown i wouldn't do black for pants and shirt.

For the hair you just want it to look nice, nothing to crazy. if you are one of those people who like to make your hair twice the size of your head maybe tone it down a little :P I just straightened mine and left it down.

And last of all for makeup follow the same rules as the hair, nice but not overkill. it isn't the time to pull out the bright colors and thick eyeliner. neutral eye shadows (like browns) or light pastels are good for times like this and a little lip gloss can add the perfect touch.

Job Interview Issues - How To Dress To Match The Interview

  • a sexy thong and some nipple bra! they'd love it specially if its a man...!

  • Put you hair up, don't dress like a hooker, tone down the makeup. You want to look responsible.
