Job Interview Questions: Job interview on Friday! Please help? :)?

It doesn't help that I'm VERY shy, timid, SCARED!!

Do you have any tips for me?

The job interview is for 'Homecare Pharamacy purchasing assistant'. All I really know is that it is a financial role where I will be seeing lots of invoices and inputting data onto Microsoft excel.

I've never done anything like this and clearly stated this in the interview so I'm quite shocked to have an interview.

I'm currently a receptionist on a Labour ward so the only similarity is that it's within the NHS.

Best Answers to the Trickiest Job Interview Questions

Recommended Answer:
Okay, so if you're a receptionist you must have experience in data entry, right? You must also know or have used Microsoft Office / Excel as well, right? If this is the case you have nothing to worry about, they (Homecare Pharmacy) will bring you up to speed on what your duties will entail. If you do not have experience with data entry or Microsoft Excel then you really should NOT go to the interview... you would only end up embarrassing yourself and wasting the interviewer's time.

The Comic Tragedy of Job Interviews

  • hey hun

the job i have now, i had hardly any experience for. they asked for Audio typing, minute taking and stuff and i havent really done any of those things!! you learn on the job, the bits you think will be the hardest are often the easiest (i almost cancelled the interview because i hadnt dont audio typing).

tell them how much you want to learn and progress. if anything, go to the interview for experience :) you never know. i didnt think i had a shot at getting this job, yet here i am 10 months later doing what i love :)

    good luck xxxx

  • You will do fine.once you get in and get the hang off everything, you'll laugh at the fact that you worried so much.but I know that it is scary to start any new job but not to worry. if they like you great and if not, thats okay too.but I'am sure that you'll do fine. hold your head up and believe in yourself and keep repeating..." I can do this". and you will. and praying to God helps too!

Recommended Answer:
just wear a shirt that doesn't show too much cleavage, but it tight enough to show the curve and shape of your boobs.

How to Earn a Winning Grade on Your Next Job Interview

  • When manager says "something casual" he means "dressy casual". So dress the way you would for an office job, but substitue a v neck blouse or shirt that would show off your "assets". being sublte and professional in the way you dress, and cheerful, positive answers in the interview should stand you out from the other applicants. Dont forget to email, text, or send a thank you afterwards.
    Good luck!

  • Wear something form fitting but not too revealing. You want to think first date with a cute guy. Let your personality shine and make sure your hair and makeup is done!

  • Wear something casual, but a top that makes someone see why you would be a good representative for Hooters.
    Good Luck!

  • Nothing obviously.

Job Interview Questions: What should I wear to a job interview at The Body Shop?

I was at The Body Shop the other day, and the woman to whom I spoke implied that jeans and a tshirt would not be okay for the interview (at my past places of employment--a library and a specialty soap store--they would be fine). So can anyone give me some good suggestions as to what I should wear to this interview?

If you were really interested in your job interview, you wold have asked the question in general, and not to Muslims only.

4 Tips For Having the Most Success With Your Job Interview

  • My first and only interview went really well, because i got the job and got really positive feedback about my personality too. being a Muslim shouldn't affect the interview. unless your workplace is racist! so just be confident in yourself. it also helps to have a sense of humor. don't be too serious about it all. laughing can help calm nerves. so chill out and remember they need you more than you need them! its about what you can bring to the company! good luck!

  • Never had an interview , finished at university then started my job. the fact that it's the family firm helped though LOL.

    Good Luck.[==== ====]

  • Couldn't be worst! Of course I didn't get the job. I gave all the wrong answers. I thought I was being smart and diplomatic. But I learned a lot since. I'm very comfortable now. I treat it like a one-to-one meeting rather than an interrogation. I know exactly what they look for.

Best of luck. Remember, they want you as much as you want them.
