Job Interview Questions: What should I wear to a job interview at The Body Shop?

I was at The Body Shop the other day, and the woman to whom I spoke implied that jeans and a tshirt would not be okay for the interview (at my past places of employment--a library and a specialty soap store--they would be fine). So can anyone give me some good suggestions as to what I should wear to this interview?

Some of the Toughest Job Interview Questions and Their Model Answers

  • Congratulations! You are on your way to getting your job, just remember to look professional but do not over do it. Easy on the makeup too. Just dress nice, a nice summer dress, or a pair of slacks either black or beige, perhaps a maroon polo or a black polo. Many of the new McDonald's restaurants are changing their color schemes to black and maroon. So try something along those lines. I am confident that you will do fine.

I am curious to know, did you use the online job application process, or did you visit a store near you and apply in person?

  • It doesn't really matter. I mean, c'mon! It's McDonald's! As long as you know how to work a cash register and you have a good attitude, they'll be sure to hire you. But, if you really wanna know: Just wear something casual, but not something that'll make you look like a bum (e.g., jogging/sweat pants, baggy T-shirt, ect.).

  • Just wear a nice pair of slacks or khakis, and a nice blouse or polo shirt. You don't need to dress to formally, just don't show up in shorts and a halter top or anything.

  • wear something casual like jeans(nothing too over the top) and a coat. Wear a bright shirt but not like neon. Maybe do your hair in a pony tail or something, and smile.
But the main word here is casual.

  • i just wore casual clothes to mine. but dont slutty clothes or anything!

Job Interview Questions: How long to get called back after a job interview?

I had an interview on thursday, everything went well and at the end of the interview I felt really confident. At the end, the employer said she had 2 more interviews left, but so far I was a good candidate. She said she would call back by Friday or Monday and still nothing. What should I do its my first interview and I don't know what to expect. Will I get a call back?

Secrets to Answering Job Interview Questions About Your Weaknesses

Recommended Answer:
Unfortunately, I would keep applying. Even if an interview seems perfect, employers can say whatever they want...remember, they don't want to hurt your feelings. Always keep applying for jobs, no matter how perfect it seems, and ALWAYS send a thank you email after the interview. I hope that helps, and feel free to email me with any other questions about it.

Job Interview Questions: What should I wear to my job interview?

I got a job interview at Target! But what should I wear? I'm a 16 year old girl if that helps! Are dark skinny jeans okay or do I need to wear khakis? Any advice is greatly appreciated:)

Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
Congrats on your interview!
It's better to be a little over dressy than to be too casual if anything.
I think crisp, dark jeans are okay. No rips, paint splatter, or fading. If you don't feel comfortable with that go with some simple khakis. Wear a RED shirt, they'll appreciate you're already showing "team spirit" if you get my drift. Go for just a simple red t shirt, nothing on it and wear a nice silver necklace (doesn't have to be real silver). Don't overdo makeup or accessories. For shoes you can wear ballet flats or a clean pair of Chuck Taylors. Most of all wear a smile, that leaves a great impression.
Good luck on your interview!

Job Interview Questions: I went on an job interview and got this mixed response. What does it mean?

I went on a job interview and the lady that interviewed me called me back days later and asked me if I was still interested in the job and I said YES! She then told me that she was going to send my papers over to her supervisor so she can approve it and then she would call me back on a certain day. Now that day was yesterday and I have not heard from her. Does this mean I did not get the job.

5 Job Interview Tips

  • No, that's not what it means, it means you should wait because some companies move very slowly when hiring some one. There also might be a process where job referances need to be checked before hiring.

  • She's not calling you back.

  • This has happened to me before and it turned out the employer was checking my references before final approval. She could not get in contact with one of them and so left it until the next day. I think if she hadn't called you back on the day she said, you can call and say" I didnt hear from you, I am just checking that everything is OK with the job" This will also make you sound interested in the job.
Even if the supervisor didnt approve you, you still have the right to know what's going on. Some people can just take their time, don't assume the worst
