Job Interview Questions: How to prepare for a job interview?

I just got a call back from a potential first job (Brunswick Zone - Bowling if that makes a difference) And want to know what I'm going to need to prepare for the interview, cause I'm really nervous, and this is my first person to person interview. I've only filled out applications, and talked onto the phone otherwise.

Job Interviews - 10 Cardinal Sins

Recommended Answer:
look heres the thing about interviews. they are a sales pitch on why i should waste my time hiring you instead of the other mouth breather that walked in here, you need to sell yourself basicly. tell them what you will do for them and since its your first just sound excited and be happy. do not be shy and show respect they love that. shake there hand before and after the interview. and remember SELL SELL SELL

Job Interviews - The Most Difficult Questions

  • -Make sure you look presentable (But for a part-time entry job like this don't go for a full suit!)
-Be confident, you ARE the best candidate for the position!
-Be polite and professional (shake hands, smile, use formal language- try not to say "Uhh" or "like" too much)
-Look up questions that are likely to be asked and have responses ready (Strengths/Weaknesses?)

  • Confidence (not too much), self cleanliness, self respect, good hygiene, good attitude, make sure you dress appropriate (maybe a suit)
