Job Interview Questions: What to wear for a job interview at a courthouse?

I can find lots of suggestions on what to wear to court, or what to wear for a job interview, but what should I wear to a job interview AT a courthouse? It's for a docket clerk position at the county district court. I usually err on the dressy side for interviews, would a suit be too formal?
