I have never had a job or even another interview before.
I'm nervous and not quite sure what to do
Tips to a Job Interview Presentation to Impress Your Hiring Manager
Recommended Answer:
First and Foremost DRESS UP, TIE, DRESS SHIRT, SLACKS at a minimum. You want to dress to impress and always dress above what the job requires in the interview, it tells them you are serious.
Second, don't tell them you REALLY NEED THIS JOB! That will make them think that you'll leave for greener pastures once you find a different job or the economy improves.
Third, have confidence in yourself! Although you may lack experience you need to make sure that they know you can do everything they ask for in the position and are a problem solver, explain some project you started and completed on your own to demonstrate you ability to do-it-yourself.
Fourth, do not ask about pay if it isn't already included in the listing. That conversation you should hold off until they offer you the position at an entry level.
Good luck!
