Job Interview Questions: Is it ok to wear jeans at a job interview?

the job interview is at chuck e cheese, im a guy, 17 and needs advice haha

Preparing For the Perfect Job Interview

Recommended Answer:
It's OK to wear clean, nice jeans to an interview for a fast food place (and Chuck E Cheese IS fast food). You must avoid jeans that don't fit, that are torn, and you must avoid sagging (jeans fitting below the natural waistline). At the very least, wear a polo shirt.

If you want to make a better impression and have a better chance at the job, though, wear khakis at least, and possibly slacks. Wear a buttoned woven (not knit) shirt with a collar. And make sure to bring a couple of working pens, so that you can fill out forms.

Why Being Interviewed First Can Mean "Last" in a Job Interview

  • Depends on the employer. At a place like Chuck-E-Cheese, it should be fine.

  • I think it would be fine for Chuck E Cheese. The trick to dressing for an interview isn't dressing up but dressing appropriately for the job that you want. It is possible to over dress for an interview.

  • That depends on the employer or the kind of job you're seeking for..

But as you have further explained, it is ok for chuk e cheese. It is hope that this answered your question. Thanks

  • It depends on what job you want if you want to be a doctor or a lawyer you should wear a suit and tie.But mainly jeans are not formal for a job interview good luck

  • I always have this idea that format dress is good but if jeans make you feel more confident
then there is no problem with it. After all its all about confidence.

  • Whatever the place is - you should never wear jeans.
Think about it - if they are seeing loads of people who are all the same you will stick out the most if you are looking smart and professional in nice trousers and smart shirt- whatever the job no matter what it is.. go smart

  • Not even at Chuck E Cheese.
