Job Interview Questions: Is it bad to wear all black to a job interview?

I have an interview for a hostess position at a trendy restaurant (like earls and cactus club)..in thoes restaurant, the staff tend to wear all black.

I am planning to wear some nice black pants, with a fitting black shirt, and black flats. Should I add a coloured cardigan to it?
