Job Interview Questions: Interviewer smelled bad at job interview - should I have said anything?

Something smelled really rank at my job interview. When they asked if I wanted coffee, I said no I smell rotten milk or something. Interviewer looked upset because I think it was him.

Should I have kept quiet? Is there a way to rectify this? It really smelled bad in there. Thanks.
