If you took that literally, then the joke answer would be "By killing the employer" but i'm serious. How do psychopaths get a job for a successful powerful position? There supposed to be compulsive people! I use manipulating as a skill and don't really need it for interviews because I'm attractive and I give off superficial charm but how does the psychopath do it?

  1. Be genuinely friendly and warm. you could pretend you are talking to an old friend who you really respect much. This way, the employer could feel your sincerity. However, be reminded not to be too comfortable.
  2. Listen to the interviewer. Get some hint: Employers still love to talk much about themselves. You could get amazed and surprised how the interview could turn out to be a friendly discussion where the employer opens up to you. Go with the flow and allow him to speak.

  4. Compliment the interviewer. Doing so could make him feel more important. However, be careful not to go beyond the boundary of insincere flattering.
