Job Interview Questions: Tips for first job interview?

I have a job interview, I'm so nervous. I'm 16 if that matters. I've been applying for jobs for months, & finally I've got an interview. Does anyone have any tips? Questions they may ask. Also I have something called OJE interview, does anyone no what this is.

Job Interview Success

Here are a few suggestions that might help.

Sit down with your parents and do a practice interview. Your parents have a good idea of what will be asked.

Dress to impress. Even if it is a low quality job, dress like you want the job. I will always hire someone dressed better then the other.

Be honest. It is better to be honest and open with your interviewer.

Identify qualities that would make you good at this job. Sell those qualities to your interviewer. You more than likely will be asked "scenario question". Use these opportunities to sell your strengths.

Dont be nervous.

Well I hope you do well. Best of luck.

Job Interview Advice Everyone Can Use

  • To add a few more comments, try to go on the company's website and do a little research about the company and the products/services they sell. This will be especially impressive considering that you're only 16. Be positive, don't discuss your personal life (unless asked), tell them that your salary is "negotiable," and don't tell them you want the job because you "need the money"- act like you want the job because the position and the company interest you. Also express a desire to learn and to gain experience.

    Good luck!!
