i have a job interview today but i changed my mind and I really don't want to work there. Do i just not show up or call and cancel? If I don't show up on the scheduled time will they just get the hint?

Techniques To Avoid Job Interview Stress

Recommended Answer:
Etiquette calls for you to tell them that you are no longer interested in the job.

How To Make Job Interviews Easy

  • Be forthcoming and make it a point to put yourself in their shoes. They go through all that trouble to stop the interviewing process because they find the right candidate for the job. They expect you to come in. If you have changed your mind, the best thing to do is call and tell them that you have accepted another offer and to thank them for their time. This is cut and dry. Because one day you may run into this interviewer again and they may certainly remember how to handled that situation-professionally or immaturely.

  • Go to the interview if not for anything else but to practice your interview skills. At the end of the interview, thank him/her and state you would rather not work here.

  • call and let them know. Why would you deliberately inconvenience someone by just not turning up?

  • dont bother, most places dont even bother to tell you that you didnt get the job so let it be a lesson to them!
