Job Interviewing Tips - Success Through a Thank-You-Letter

Recommended Answer:
For a cashier position they are going to want someone who seems friendly and able to talk to people. Just make sure to smile and maintain eye contact. Also no matter how nervous you are make sure you seem confident! Try to think of answers ahead of time. The most typical thing they will as is for you to describe yourself. They are not so much looking to hear about your personal life but your professional life and what it is you can bring to the job. If you haven't had a job before talk about your school work and extra curricular actives you have been involved in. Honestly they are not going to care so much about what you answer but how you answer. So like I said be confident, talk clearly and try not to say umm... or ahhh... a lot. Good luck! (=

Eliminate Job Interview Anxiety

  • Sit up straight, hold your head high answer questions with confidence. Be sure of yourself and don't feel intimidated. Have an extra copy of your resume, if you have one, list of references just in case the interviewer ask for one.

You don't have to wear a business suit but the standard interview attire if you're a guy, shirt and tie, dark slacks or khakis. If you're a gal knee-length skirt, white blouse, make sure the jewelry is toned down, stay away from big earrings, etc.

    Good luck to you.

  • what hours can u work? why should we hire u over someone else? what can u offer the job? just smile be confident and honest and good luck
