Know Your Job Interview Skills

  • You need to focus on your stengths,

    Be yourself and be assertive,
    Answer questions in your head;
    Why do you want this job?
    Why do you think you are suited to this role?
    Have you done anything similar?
    What is marketing? (Do some research)
    Find out about the company they will ask you wat do you know about the company (sites, profit, structure, main clients, products)
    Why do you want to work for them specifically?
    What attracted you to the post?
    Where can you see yourself in the future?

    Think about all open questions;

    Reseach about the company, aims, objectives of the role, ask for person specification and job role, speak to people who you know who may work there

    Think about questions you need answered too, its a two way process, I ask things about hours, salary if not mentioned, benefits as an employee, canteen etc etc CPD and all sorts,

    Most importantly its first impressions that count too as the previous post stated look your best, get some good sleep and be prepared, write things down and don't stress, practice makes perfect
