Job Interview Questions: Do I wear a suit for a job interview at a correctional institution?

I have my very first job interview next week, and as far as I know it is standard to wear a suit jacket and skirt. However, this is for a coordinator position....at a correctional institution! Is it still appropriate to wear a suit, considering the location?

Not necessary. When you see the other applicants, you will smile. Most will be in jeans and knit shirts. Not that they are being disrespectful; they just know what kind of job they are applying for. Substance is everything; style is nothing in the world of Corrections. Dress comfortably.
