Job Interview Questions: What is the best time to have a job interview from the employee's perspective?

in term's of the likelihood of getting the job. The beginning, middle or end of the manger's interview week? I was thinking the end because you will be freshest in the manager's mind.

You have a good idea, but by the end of the week, the job may have been given to someone else. It will save the employer time, and therefore, money, to hire the first qualified applicant.

  • I would agree that the end of the week is the best. They'll have a good feel for the applicant pool, and if you come across strong in the interview, you'll stand out in their mind.

    I don't think order matters too much in the final analysis, though. Once I hired a candidate who was the very first one on the very first day. It just happened that he was the best candidate.

  • Just be lucky they called you in for and interview, could be 24/7 have the proper requirements for that job believe in yourself and dress positive. The first impression is what counts....
