Job Interview Questions: What to wear to a job interview *mechanic*?

hello i have a job interview in 2 days time its for an apprenticeship in heavy mechanics, i am just wanting to know what i should wear for this?? also should i cut my hair as its mid sized afro atm.

blue jeans white tee steel toe boots (only cut your hair if it affects the way you do your job) it dont so leave it be (wear a hat if your worried about it) good luck

  • Wear whatever. A interviewer for a mechanic apprenticeship won't really care if you're not wearing a tasteful polo and pressed slacks. And style the hair into something neutral. Don't go full afro. Cutting is unnecessary.

  • I'd say either a full jumpsuit, with the 4" wrench coming out of the back pocket and everything....or a 3-piece suit made of duct tape, so they know you're handy.
