Job Interview Questions: What should i say on a job interview?

I recently had an interview for a summer job working at a camp. I got a call yesterday and got the good news that i they wanted me for a second interview! now, i thought the first one went well, so does anyone have any tips to help me get the job? thanks =]

Job Interviews - What You Don't Do Can HELP You!

Recommended Answer:
I dunno what they asked you in the first interview, but since you say its a camp, I suggest you show enthusiasm in giving people a good time, like with physical activities, but always be on the safety line, suggesting adventures are not good for everyone. Appear to be a good decision maker, be precise and firm in your answer. I guess these are important qualities for being in a camp.

Essentials of Job Interviewing

  • You can say...

"Hello, how are you, won't you tell me your name?"

  • 1) Be on time
    2) Get a good night's sleep (don't go in hungover)
    3) Dress decently

Then tell them how excited you are - you know you will do a great job.

    good luck

  • i think you have to focus on what you think a camp worker should represent.

a few things come to mind:
    1) fun and lively (but not someone who is stupid and mucks around too much)
    2) willing to get stuck in with any physical activity
    3) being a sensible person as safety is a huge deal - these are kids you're dealing with.
    4) passion for the job - giving kids a great holiday.
    5) someone who is reliable - need to be on time for the job.
    6) someone who looks fresh and clean - no one wants a grotty employee.

hope you get the job :)
