Job Interview Questions: Job interview for a part time job ata pizza place.i only wanna work 4 hours a day. is this possible?

im 16 and i have a interview today for a job at a pizza place/resturaunt. the manager is my good friends dad and thats how i got in. i wanna job but i ony wanna work for 4 hours a day (11am-3pm) is this possible? will i not get the job if i tell him that? or what?

Since you're still a minor, you're only allowed to work a certain number of hours per day and per week as required by law. I don't know what state you live in, but there are different laws pertaining to minors in the workforce for each state (you might want to look into it). If the hours you mentioned are the only hours you CAN work, then yes, tell whoever interviews you that. It's possible you might not get the job based on availability, so sometimes it's better to be flexible. Hopefully they like you enough where you can make a schedule that works for you...good luck!
